I changed the switch but they still are not working 1 answer drivers side door lock and window not working. The dome light will flash to indicate the mode that is active. If the rear doors are locking normally with the power door lock switch this means that all your power and ground inputs are good. Change the position to door make sure all the doors are shut and that your shift lever is set to park put the key in the ignition and turn it so it is set to on once you are in the on position and before 5 seconds has passed push down the door lock switch on the driver s side keeping it down for 5 seconds.

For vehicles with traditional style door lock cylinders and keys a bad power door lock relay will merely disable the power door lock feature. As you remove the door you will see an electrical cord connecting the power door locks to the inside electrical clip. Within five seconds after the key is turned on push and hold the driver s side power door lock switch for about five seconds. For vehicles equipped with door lock cylinders the door can still be opened using the key.

However vehicles without door lock cylinders will not be able to lock or unlock the doors until power is restored. The only way to know for certain is to remove the door panel and check the power supply which is the blue wire with an orange tracer and a blue wire with a red tracer at the connector going to the door lock actuator. Carefully unhook this connection. With the door fully removed you should see a plastic shroud protecting the inner door components.
